In late May, renowned innovation and venture capital attorneys Diego Nabarro and Thomas Pfeferman launched new São Paulo-based boutique, Nabarro & Pfeferman Advogados.

The newly established firm already counts on seven attorneys and specializes in advising clients hailing from the technology sector, particularly in M&A transactions, private equity and venture capital deals as well as early, mid and late-stage startup investments.

With a combined experience of over 20 years in the Brazilian legal market, both founding partners earned Bachelor of Laws degrees from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) and, most recently, worked together at front-running firm Baptista Luz Advogados. Mr. Nabarro and Mr. Pfeferman have also practiced at such full-service players as Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr. e Quiroga Advogados and Pinheiro Neto Advogados, respectively.

The founding partners officially stated: “The firm will continue to focus on advising entrepreneurs and investors on initiatives in the new economy, counting on the 10 years of experience of the founding partners in M&A, corporate law and especially venture capital.”
